Anyone sell fabric that's 9 feet wide??? And 9 feet long, too??

I'd prefer not to attach fabric together.

Would I be able to buy the sail from a sail boat??

    ... a 9 ft. flag??

    ...........????

    ============

This fabric is something that I wil be laying on, as well. Not for a tarp or something else.

A weather-resistant texture, like a trampoline mat, would be acceptable, I guess.

Sails use seams for shaping and stiffening so not likely. Big flags I have seen are sewn together, not printed on so no luck there. Outside of tyvek or similar I cannot think of anything. It will be interesting to watch.

+1 to nothermark, I don't think you're gonna get a woven fabric 9' wide with out a seam.
    Good luck,

It is available, maybe not as many varieties, but it definitely is made.

Typical uses for fabric this wide are draperies and quilts.

Great guy. I built a back yard theater with this stuff. It's canvas like.

+1 on wondering what it's for! (9 wide for a hammock might be considered a tad extreme!)
my hammock gear weights total: 2430g (~86oz)
    Winter: total 2521 (~89oz)
(see my profile for detailed weights)

looks like 9 ft would be a king size bed sheet or quilt.

    Fabric for what???

For this, of course --> http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=51490

I will look into the two sites suggested. But I did also find another option.... custom trampoline mats -- http://www.funspot.com/trampoline_mats.php

    Hmm.... that could possibly work.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Just trying to piece things together before I start placing orders.
