I have the BEST husband! The hammock is so comfy - look forward to installing it in the bedroom, and becoming a 365 hammocker!

I have a couple heavy yard hammocks this might work for. What size U-bold did you use?

Anyone have a thought on the best way to attach a set of ring buckles to this and keep things nice and centered?

Duffy, That's a brilliant version of the Mini Spreader Bar and MightyMouse almost looks lost in that hammock.

I got the biggest size they had, 4" across the open end, I believe

Thank you, gentlemen! High praise indeed! Now for the fun part, mounting hooks on plaster-over-lathboard walls. No room for stands.

Nicely done, Duffy! A quick, off the shelf solution (for the most part). Have you had any issue with the webbing slipping on the bar, or does the length of the hammock provide enough gentle twist that it's a non-issue?

Thank you, sir. Has not been an issue in the testing stage, grips very well. We'll see about daily(nightly) use.

Nice twist Duffy. I think I'd be tempted to open that U bolt up a bunch, but then again here I go fixing things that aren't broken...
