I have one of those too. I would really like to take it, but will probably opt for the Mini-Atomic with a plain tinfoil windscreen. TR42, do you know how much your Caldera Cone set-up weighs roughly?
    Having several Coleman stoves setup on the 3 picnic tables would be very nice. It's a safe way for all to cook their meals while we are car camping.

    waddy I really like the mini Atomic at altitude.
    The pressurized stoves seem to heat water a lot faster up there and they have more tolerance to wind.

    waddy,
    The weight of the Caldera cone system varies a bit based on which mug/pot you are using with it. Here are the weights for the SnowPeak 700 titanium mug setup;
    Caldera cone, alc. stove and protective plastic holder = 5.9 ozs.
    SnowPeak 700 mug = 4.4 ozs. , so slightly over 10 ozs. total
    If you want to give it a try, let me know and I'll bring an extra one along for you to use.

    Then in my case, add a spork, lighter, 2" square piece of scotchbrite for a pot scrubber, 5 oz. of alcohol, Reflectix coozie(hotzie in this case) for the mug, my kit is 17 oz..

    Many thanks for the generous offer! I think I'm going to have to spring for one of the entire systems, even if Big Brother outlaws alcohol stoves due to the recent fire. I already have a SnowPeak 900, so I will size it to that (moooore weight ). I just purchased a little cannister stove (ugh!), an Optimus Crux. It is a keen little stove for a cannister stove, and the whole thing, cannister and all, fits right inside my SP 900. Although I still love my BushBuddy, I am very afraid I'm going to have to try the Caldera Cone Ti-Try 3 Fuel System so I have all the options available. It's all your fault food!!!!

    waddy,
    As illogical as it seems, a larger volume mug/pot may not actually weigh more. My 1L REI Pasta pot with lid weighs less than my SP700, (3.8ozs. vs. 4.4 ozs). It also has the added advantage of being a perfect cozy for the Bushbuddy Ultra, an alky stove, a spork, and a lighter. A total of 11 ozs. Of course TR42's point of bringing some alcohol is still valid!
    1L Pasta Pot w/ Lid = 3.88 ozs.
    BB Ultra = 4.88
    Mini Atomic or Caldera stove = 0.5
    GSI Spork = 0.38
    Mini BIC = 0.38
    Windscreen = 1.0
    Alcohol ??????
    TOTAL 11.02 ozs.
    It can be done lighter, but I like having an alky option and a woodburning option that all fits in the pasta pot.

    P.S.- When I start weighing these items down to the hundreds of on ounce, it always makes me start laughing. It makes me realize I need to back off the Graeter's Raspberry Chocolate Chip pints of ice cream or get my butt back on a long trail, but I am down 240 ozs. from last year's Colorado Summer hang.

    Wow, your pack last year was POUNDS lighter than mine! I'm really going to have to work on it! How do you say "gram weenie"?

    Thanks food, just watching you last year was enough. I've also watched some excellent videos on YouTube (there actually ARE some good ones on there). I'm going to get the entire set with the Inferno extra so I can be prepared for anything. I should be able to leave all the wood burning accessories behind if not needed, right?
