My “tablecloth” has arrived. Thanks to the Hammock Forums and all who participate with tips, I’m ready to tackle this DIY hammock.

I wish I could understand your sketch...can you explain it more or post a pic? sorry to ask so much

    Nice find

I thought I would get the 60" x 126" size however I like they add to the description.

Please note: High-quality material used, weight of this item is very heavy.

The size is the same as my Skeeter beeter pro and it's weight incudes the net. I'd hate to go heavier than mine and go on a hike. Maybe a car camp. But if it stays in the bedroom or patio I guess it would be fine.

I guess as it's a decorative item and not a "camping" item, the colors are going to be "festive."

I don't mind but just fyi. This bad boy is iridescent. Can't wait to rig it up!
Anyone have pictures? Seems the site doesn't give a good representation.

I ordered the 60X126 in sage green and one in silver for a friend (just getting into hammocks). They should be waiting on my door step when I get home, as long as the Mail Lady hasn't forgotten where I live. We are planing on a hang this Friday night I will try to get some pics.

Both of these are "sage green." The fabric is bright. Not that there's anything wrong with that!

You definitely won't have trouble finding your hammock in any normal woods...

I like it. Yes, not stealth for sure. But a nice color.

I know it's supposed to retain it's color, but you could try giving it a wash. I wonder if some of the browns wouldn't go well here in Missouri. Lots of green for sure but plenty of brown leaves cover the forests as well. A hard patch of any one color would stand out close up but go unseen from a distance.

I'm going to wash it as a matter of course before building anything with it. I don't mind the color though, which is just as well 'cuz I don't think it's going anywhere...

Sorry if this was mentioned previously, but does anyone know the fiber content of the "crinkle taffeta"? I ordered a 60" x 126" crinkle taffeta in burgandy (goes with my decor) for my Turtle Lady stand in the living room.

I ordered a 72" x 120" 100% polyester one a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to try a LITTLE wider, but 90" sounded TOO wide. This was the only 72" wide tablecloth they had. But Mr. Pips and I both hate it. It's plenty strong enough and seamless, but we miss the slipperiness of nylon. We get all bound up trying to move in it (not at the same time, mind you ).

Additionally, I don't see the benefit of "wider". I thought I would, but I don't. So I put the original ripstop nylon one back up and I ordered the crinkle taffeta.

Oh well. It's only money! Banquet anyone?
