You missed my last post. When you get yours in weight it will you? It works great for me because it's my home/everyday sleeper. No bed. But you're not going to want to take this camping.

Now, if they would only start making table cloths out of Cuben fiber.

Good find! If you get on their mailing list, they periodically have sales, and free shipping. Its a pretty strong cloth and great for hammocks. (its not ultralight, but then again neither am I!) For weigh ratings, ckout papasmurfs website. He uses crinkle taffeta alot. I believe the weight is around 2.3?
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

Great idea, thanks for posting. I was also curious as to the weight. Like the red, I think I'm gonna go with "sage"..
Tonight I'm howlin' at a foreign moon, might as well be a junkie's spoon.

Well, I will see how I do on a whipped end hammock, just ordered a 90 x 132 in sage. Now to get me some good cord to whip it with before it gets here.

Weighed, I suspect this is on par with something like an Eno Doublenest?

Yes, they do have regular sales. They rotate back and forth between 10% off for a few days and then free shipping for a few days. I usually stick with the free shipping days. Now, if you were to order a lot, it's always free shipping with a $150 purchase, a few times they've done free shipping on $100 orders....on those times you'd want to use the 10% off sale and also cash in on the free shipping.

Nice work. I recently did a similar thing and used queen sized bed sheets for a porch double layer hammock.

just ordered 2 :-) I've been looking for a good color source for my daughters. Thanks for sharing.

What does the 90x132 tablecloth weigh?

Record hammock production at scout meeting 1.5 hours 5 hammocks. That's with the boys pinning and taping and me sewing (er.. injecting thread).
