If worst comes to worst... you ride during the night to stay warm and then catch up on your ZZZ's somewhere during the day....
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I've repacked and added a tiny duffel after all.
I'm gonna put bike specific stuff in there (i.e. chain lube, chain spray, extra quart of oil, tire pump, etc)
And since that freed up room in my panniers . . . the sleeping bag got tossed in there even though I'm pretty sure I'll never use it.

Really cool trail, looks like a ton of fun, dual sport heaven. What are you riding for the trip? Did you get your BMW repaired?

    I'm riding my KTM 990.
The BMW was totaled (although I did buy it back and a friend is gonna rebuild it for himself).

Also, remember that he'll be riding through TN, MS, AR, and OK...in August... He will see daytime temps of 100ºF(ish) with 100% humidity. A night-time low of 70ºF will be a welcome respite.

That comment was in reference to getting caught without a sleeping bag on a cold night. I thought he was on a bicycle. Silly me.

Those KTM bikes are pretty wicked, looks like you could ride that thing around the world if you wanted to, well enjoy.
