UL BMBH initial review

I have to say, the sleeve on the original BMBH is wonderful. Please keep in mind, it is all about the comfort of sleep and the ease of getting in and out. I find once the Big Agnes pad is inflated and placed in the sleeve, it holds the shape of the bottom flat, thus eliminating the sides coming in to cause shoulder squeeze. I do not have to worry about reaching down to grab the zipper and feel the tippiness that you would expect. I also feel confident in the middle of the night when I shift to my side that I am not going to tip. I do not even have to come out of my comatose state to consider such nonsense. I just keep sleeping sound. Love the original BMBH and the sleeve. Since I am a warm sleeper, an UQ is not even a part of the equation. Thanks Jacks...I am sure the UL version will be nice for some, but I like the original version.

My UL BMB turned up today.

Stock suspension and still in the stuffsack: 950g or 33.5oz

I won't get a chance to actually use it for a while, but initial thoughts are it's very well made, and I think the stuffsack (13x17") is way too large.

I like the somewhat over-sized stuff sack since it can conform to the available space when I jam it down into my backpack.

I also like the included stuffsack a lot. I think it's more practical than the medium-sized speedsacks.
