    Tree Straps, wrap around tree, take other end through loop and pull. Take that long end that you pulled through the loop and do a marlins with toggle. Loop your whoopie over that knot above the toggle...NOT on the toggle. You can just ignore the loops at one end.

    You don't need to trust the toggle, there is no weight on the toggle it's just holding the knot together. Just remember... On the knot, not the toggle!

    However do whatever makes you comfortable! It is you hanging in the hammock! HYOH

    haha, let me just clear this up

    i have maybe 6 sets of toggles, from carbon fiber to Ti on down to sticks. i just dont like that (maybe should have said that) and i know how to hook up the MSH.

    I got it all sorted out, so no worries now. hell, i just need longer straps now....lol (trees here are too **** big...)
