I have found on other camping/gear related forums that a thread for sales and deals that members find for equipment and want to share to be of great value...literally. Times are hard and finding a nice price spreads itself pretty far in its effect, specially when it is considered a "hobby" by family members, lol. And if anyone is even remotely like me, I still screw up OFTEN even after doing my "research" and have to do upgrades just as OFTEN.
I was wondering if it was within the rules and in the interest of other forum members (and of course the mods) to possibly put a sticky thread in the "for sale" section for sweet deals/coupons/sales they find when gear hunting? Not only will it help us save money it would also help keep this type of info centralized on the forum-less work for the mods during spring cleanings.
And if this already exist and I'm missing it then could some kind soul point me in the general direction.
Hmmm...i did find the "other vendors" section and that is sort of like it but it looks like its more of a place for vendors to post deals and to say thanks for the awesome work they do, not a place for us to share sales and such. I'll keep looking.
