plastic zip ties work good. Pull them fairly tight and cut off the extra

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

Maybe this looks different than what it is, but I would HIGHLY recommend reviewing the way you are attaching your whoopie sling to the toggle/strap setup. It looks like the weight it all on the toggle and not on the 'knot'.

Look at some videos and or pics, Shug's video on this is probably highly quoted around the forum. The toggle will bend or snap in half, the strength is in the knot that is formed around the toggle.

    I like!

This thread is a good reminder for us to inspect our gear prior to each use.

Thanks for the concern but that picture is just to show the toggle “leashed” to my Whoopies. My tree strap is looped over a doorknob and I’ve got my foot on the end of my Whoopie.
A great reminder for everyone to double check their set up.

I like the zip tie idea! And another buddy of mine used rubber washers on her whoopies. I haven't had a problem with my Pony beads from Wal-Mart but I'm pretty easy with my gear...or have I just been lucky?

I did the same thing nacra mentioned earlier with the Solomon Bar. It serves two purposes. First, it stops the loop from pulling through. Second, it allows you to cinch the loop behind the MSH.

I made it with 16" of 1.75mm lash-it. If I did my math right it adds 0.7g for those of you who care.
