Looks like it was a wonderful time, MM.

How's the grade on that trail? The topo didn't look too bad, and none of the video seemed like it was on serious hills.

Might want to try and make my way up there some summer. I love riding in the rain.

FLRider, at worst 3% grade and probably 1.5% for the majority of the ride...in the direction we chose--north to south--it is overall downhill.
Richtorfla- thank you very much, you made my day!

This ride is so enjoyable (even in the rain) that it will probably become a yearly event.
BUT I saw a lot of kayaks on the water this time and there is only one class III area so maybe a paddle-hanging-camping trip?

Your welcome MM! Kayak trip sounds tempting. Sounds like you could use a touring kayak. I don't think I could talk the wife to camp for three days but maybe. Even sounds like this fatboy here could survive the bike ride.

Great video MM. And as you point out the butterfly chair is cool but not for backpacking. And thanks for the shout-out. I have not been hanging since winter.
    Best,
    Blaze

'I have not been hanging since winter.' Blaze get thyself in a hammock! HA! I know you are busy busy getting that house in order.
I love the butterfly but FOR ME not for backpacking, Grizz being in much better shape didn't have a problem humping it up and down various mountains.
Look at this-my favorite camp chair:
    http://www.sierratradingpost.com/cra...chair~p~1977x/
Someday some one (you can ditch the head rest-not needed) will make it out of carbon fiber and it will be the exalted ruler of camp chairs. I tried to get a fabricator interested but they were too busy for the little guy.
If anyone knows a carbon fiber fabricator who has idle time let me know.
Blaze looking forward to your next house update......I do have to wonder (since I sleep full time in a hammock) if you plan on having hammock provisions inside the house????
