Troop 72 from Alabaster, AL knows how to hammock! At our last campout I counted 10 hammocks (several are in the pic below). We ran out of trees and I had to hang mine between two pickup trucks. Great fun!

Nice! Every time I take my troop out there seems to be another hanger. If this keeps up the only question will be what to do with all our tents :-)

Yeah, I noticed the high ones. A definite OUCH if there is any type of hammock failure. Boys will be boys. LOL....Was wondering how they even get up in those really high ones???

i totally take back all those times i didn't want to nap when i was a kid
I was just at a Camporee in upstate NY, and did not see a single hammock. Maybe some troops like to maintain 2 scouts per tent for the buddy system?
