My explorer is to big.

Yea i have tried not tieing it out in also looking for a much lighter Hammock as well.

Well that's a whole other issue. I have the UL explorer..
I will say having owned both.. that the Blackbird seamed to pack down smaller.
But just didn't work for me. I will be getting a Roaming Gnome for my next hammock.. If that doesn't work I will stick with my HH since I love it and sleep well in it.
