Maybe see if you can try out the others before making a decision. I like the size of my explorer and I am shorter than you and about 90 pounds less. I know that I feel very confined in my Exped.

I have the Explorer Deluxe Ultralite, same size just lighter, and I love it. I am only 5'9" and several pounds lighter than you. Having the extra room is nice for getting a good diagonal lay, and room to put my stuff in the hammock if I need to. I think the WBBB also has lots of room. The other HH's that are smaller are for 200 lbs or less except for the Expedition. I wish you luck in finding the perfect hammock for you.

Wow! I think this is the first I've ever heard that a hammock is too big I agree with the others in trying some others first.

I'm 6ft(well, 5'11-3/4") 180lb, and my expedition is barely long enough. Any less and I'd be uncomfortable(feet can get jammed up if I don't stay centered), but it works for me considering it's lighter .. and I use it for backpacking. If the extra grams are no concern to you, I suggest staying where you are. Or, check out the WBBB .. I'm curious about how the footbox would work out for me with those.

Plus, you may gain the weight back. Exped is only rated to 250lb.
