DriDucks Question Regarding UC

For someone who has experience with both materials; what is the difference between driducks action ponchos and driducks emergency poncho?

My guess would be in the price difference is that the emergency poncho is more delicate than the action poncho, but I've never felt either so I'm not certain

I'm also guessing that the action poncho would work better for an UnderCover, but again, I'm not sure?

The only difference in the 2 ponchos is the size, as far as I can tell. I have the action poncho, GF's 10yo has an emergency poncho. They fit us well. He's a little rougher on them than I am; but they are cheap and easily repaired.

Interesting. Any idea what the sizes are?

I'm not around to measure his right now, but I think it's something like 44"x77" and my action poncho is 55"x88"; I think.

I double checked lastnight just for the sake of accuracy. The E-poncho is just slightly thinner. Like the difference between 20D & 30D ripstop; it's hard to tell by hand alone. If my math is correct, as it usually is, The E-poncho material is half the weight of the Action Poncho.

E-Poncho 44"x79" (2.9oz) 1.2oz/yd^2
Action Poncho 51"x89" (8.5oz) 2.4oz/yd^2
