    Thanks, Boomer. I think Kammok is based here in Dallas. Maybe I can pick up the Pythons from them. Sounds like a good and simple way to go. Though that marlin spike is cool ...

    my19, you may also want to swap out the carabiners. The ones that come on the DN are heavy. Get a climbing grade wiregate 'biner and it'll be much lighter.

    Thanks ... when I take the Slap Straps back to REI today, I'll pick up a coupe of 'biners, too. They're also on sale ...

    I'll second the python straps. I really like using them. I also switched out the ENO biners. Oh and for anyone that might not catch the REI sale, I did a lot of hunting around for a good online deal a few months ago and found the following site. I got mine for $50 at the time but looks like they are even cheaper right now...
