Are you going to make a cover for this quilt? Maybe something like ripstop fabric or what?
Do you think the quilt fabric will retain moisture?

    Thanks in advance!
Always be suspect of down pillows. Many are feather pillows centered in a down pillow... Many have reported that the "my luxe" pillows are 100% down . . .

The real issues are: if you're looking to make ultralight equipment, you can't beat good quality down... That said, I have about 8oz of feather/down that I harvested from a down quilt a friend gave me... anybody wants it? pay shipping and it's yours...

From the link above: "400-thread-count cotton dobby cover; single-chamber construction with 21 ounces goose down; 600 fill power"

Whether or not it has a foam core, you get 21 ounces of goose down. Goose down is reported warmer than duck down. Let us know how your project turns out!

My local GW had a down quilt, but the tag said down and duck feathers? I didn't get it. Good luck with whatever project you use this for

Most my camping is above 50* I see no issues w what I have. If it were below 30 I'd find a quality down.
