    "New" Clark suspension

    Hi-
Figured I'd post this here rather than emailing Stu directly this time. I was talking with Clark yesterday about my NA and me not fitting and maybe getting an NX200 instead. I have an older Clark, which I switched to the whoopieslings and really like them. Hence "new" is probably 7-8 years old to me.

What the guy is telling me is that they have a "new" suspension system where the bungee cords are attached to the rope. Obviously you could simply free the tarp from the suspension, but the all in one system is somewhat attractive too. The way the guy talked about it, it was attached with a cable tie to the stock Clark ropes.

I don't see why this couldn't be done with a WS, unless it was in the sliding area. Anyone know what the guy was talking about and how it plays with a WS?

    Thanks.

Here's a link to a video that our friend Opie made on his modification to a NX200. We still get requests to retrofit them. Email me if interested. Maybe I can shed more light on your question once I can see their new set up.

    Thanks, Stu

I'll check it out, Stu, thanks. I'll send some pictures when I see their "new" setup, keeping in mind that "new" may be old to most. At the moment my ability to give you those pictures is about $400 away though. Working on it, but still away.

EDIT: After watching the vid...I think the guy at clark got confused, and was talking about a different hammock. What I saw there is no different than what I have (as far as what's on the hammock, not how he had it attached) with my "old" NA. Will have to see when it becomes time.
