Newb, needs advice on sleeping bags/quilts

So I am working on a bug out bag and need to figure out what to do for a sleeping system. I have a Clark NX250 would like something 4 season to sleep in that I can compress enough to fit in my MOLEE II sleep system carrier attached to my alice pack. My hammock will be stored in there as well.

question: are you planning on packing this and keeping it packed and ready to go?? If so then down is probably not a good idea. It needs to stay fluffed out when not in use or it tends to forget how to fulf.

I was planning on not having it packed unless I was hiking. While at home it will sit next to my bug out bag ready to be packed but not compressed in my carrier...

What temperatures do you intend on using the BOB in? That'll help narrow things down some.

Well I will be mostly in Missouri, so it can be really warm out a lot of the year but some nights it can get into single digits and even dip below 0 every once in a while.
