being a mod on a site is a lot more work and way more time consuming than what a lot of people think, i for one am happy for you being able to just sit back and enjoy the forums, enjoy "civilian" life

Thanks to all! Yes, we shall miss the sage words of the less speedy one, but I am happy to have the torch to carry on his legacy!

Thank you all. It is a sad thing when something that you really enjoy turns into a "job" and spoils the enjoyment. Been there, done that. I hope the change brings back the enjoyment.

Thanks for your great work, Tim. From what I have seen of John on here, the torch has been passed very well. Thanks to John for taking on mod duties.

I know the Mod's have a tough job, and Slowhike thank you for your dedication and hard work, you will be missed. John Sawyer I know you will do a great job, just from reading your posts. You can tell a lot about a person from what they write. Good luck to you both.

First Congrat's to John, I am sure you will do your best!

Second, Slowhike, I have to say that my short and limited encounters with you have always been a pleasure, you have a calming way about you that just fit as a Mod! While I completely understand your reasoning, and wish you the best, you should know that you also left a wonderful impression on how Moderators can/should be viewed (nothing against the rest of ya, so don't take it personal)!

    Take care,
