I got the snake skins and I love them. I keep wanting to take them off to save weight but I think I've spoiled myself buying them with my first tarp, they are so easy to use and I love that you can have the ridgeline set up
And just stake the tarp out if it starts to rain. Plus they don't weigh that much.
olzeke: tights: can be 'stockings' but I think what is being referred to here is something a bit heavier- leggings they are just about required for wearing skirts in the winter time.

This all just reminded me of the fact that I need to throw together a couple of python skins for our new tarps. I love them....however I do use the python (one long skin) technique. Just makes things faster and easier.
How do you guys pack snakeskins in your pack? Do you roll them up? Fold together? Attach to the outside of the pack? Stuff it all in the front mesh? Stuff in the top of the pack?
Potential is nothing without hard work.
I do so love using mine....for many a reason in the season.

I have them for both of my tarps. Like them so much I put my Blackbird hammock in another snakeskin as well!
