Talking ViDEO: PART 4 Linville Gorge 2012 with the Hickery Brothers

We wake on Rock Jock at Bean Camp and back-track on a sunny, sunny hike out. Then we drive over the the Wolfpit Rd. trailhead and head on up Shortoff Mountain. We finally get to see the view from Shortoff and wow...is it a beaut)))))))
Dinner, camp, millepede cam and a morning "Tarp Trash" talk with Hickery the Hoot-owl.
    See the "snake-skin slither"

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

The Hickery brothers do not disappoint! Ha funny stuff pal. Love the "snake" at the end! Thanks for hauling off those tarps fellers ... I'm still hoping they'll open a season on "goats" ... the kind that trash such a beautiful place! Looking forward to part 5!

That is to crazy sitting on the rock edge like that. I once stood on the edge of a cliff like that and still think about it. Great video work, love the spring water dripping on the camera!! 8)

The Gorge still gets a ton of folks toting stuff in and then to hung-over and lazy to take it out.......dis-heartning to say the least.
But....it is not everywhere...only the easier and popular trails.
