    i did the eastern half of the trail about 2 years ago and would love to get back and finish the loop, but i will not be able to make this year. it was a great hike pretty easy going for the half that i did. goos luck!!

    thanks for finishing the look for me. lol. the only important thing that i can remember about the eastern half was there was a lack of water on the lower portion of the eastern loop. the trail maps show water but all of the streams were dry when we went through.

    i know that it is short notice but i will be on the AT next weekend starting at rt225 and going to rt 81. (friday - sunday) if you are interested let me know and i will get you more details.

    Hopefully after I spend a bit of time on the AFT next week doing a couple days of trail maintenance with the Keystone trails association, I'll have a good idea of where we will be on that trail on Friday July 20th.
    That will give those who just want to join in for the past couple of days on the weekend, an opportunity to join us.
