Awwww... my very first Zing-it bury

Not as difficult as it first seemed. Thanks to all the great info here and all the great people willing to share knowledge!

Just finished my first set of soft shackles, I sure did some Zing-it wrangling this evening!

Well, I'm a musician so you'd think I had a guitar string around the house somewhere... Nope!! I went out and bought two sets of Ernie Ball regular slinky guitar strings and used the 17 gauge 'G' string. Worked great I might add.

I used 24" of string/wire and did a gentle loop over so as not to break it.

Looks great. In order to get the full strength out of your soft shackle you'll want to move it so it's off to the side of the load, ideally half way between loaded ends. What type of stopper knot did you use? I can't see it too well in the pic.

edit: Never mind the last question, I just looked at the tutorial you used.
