    I tie mine up under the tarp as an extra water break......after tripping over them a couple of times hang dependent..

    If you hold your thumb and pinkie out, wrap the line around and around in a figure 8 pattern. Then finish off the hank by following steps 17 through 21 in the following animated knots clip. http://www.animatedknots.com/coiling...matedknots.com Once you get the hang of it, you can neatly coil any line. I use it to hank up my tarp lines before I put my tarp away. Keeps everything from tangling and only takes seconds. Once I learned this, I use it all the time at home. Extension cords, dog leashes, etc.....

    +1 on the figure eight and tie it off. I may try stuffing it in the fixed eye as well--that sounds simple and quick. I definitely want the excess up and out of the way.

    I just daisy chain the rest (I guess it's actually called a chain sinnet). It's keeps it up out of the way all nice and neat and it's quick to pull it out if needed
