Hiking & Hanging is therapy, and much cheaper than medication in the long run. Carry on.

Excellent hand modelling! Thanks for the walk on the bridge – very nice! And thanks goes to your brother for suggesting you post your video, I enjoyed it!
It's a Canon PowerShot SD 1200 IS. Nice enough, but doesn't have wind noise reduction. My next one will probably be the Nikon Cool Pix.
Nice to hear from Amarillo. We grew up there! What do you do for trees to hang your hammock from? (Just Kidding!) One of the subjects we talked about on this hang was how much we miss Palo Duro.
Nice walk in the woods, I love country like that. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the complement on the "hand modeling". I worked on that for a long time but I'm sure that was obvious. This was my first multiple night hike/hang. I will say that it was a challenge but it was a great week. The Benton MacKye is an awesome trail but next time I'll make sure that I'm in a little better shape before beginning. And thanks to my brother for being an incredible guide. Can't wait to do it again. Maybe the Porkies in the UP this Fall.
Nice video. I used to hike sections of the BMT about ten years ago or so. Really liked the Stanley Gap area. I also used to hike a lot of other areas in Northern GA such as Cohutta or near Garrard Gap. A really great area to live near since it has so many trails and was never crowded when I used to hike. I rarely ran into anyone when I used to hike there and if I did, I don't ever remember seeing more than one other group on multi day hikes.
ez
Small world.
As to what to hang from, yeah it can be challenging.
As for Palo Duro, maybe a few of these will take you back.

Wow, Trailryder!
That afternoon hang looked like a lot of work for a nap!
Charles Goodnight couldn't have done better.
I really do miss that canyon, even after all these years. When I was a kid I used to see an indian behind every rock!
Looks awesome. That is some beautiful country. Glad you guys had a nice time and good job on the video. Thanks for posting.
