I am not nearly as modest as I use to be but the biggest fear I have is being reported. With today's paranoia about sexual predators all you would need is for one person to call the cops and poof, you are a registered sex offender for life. Especially if a child saw you and the parent got upset about it.

I was thinking about making a ripstop shower curtain/outhouse style barrier, I've got 3 girls well to girls and a wife. Just make 4 panels maybe 3-4 foot square and sew them together and run some small cord through the tops and hang on trees. Hell it would only weigh a few ounces and easy to pack up. One would still be able to see a couple of legs and a head but all the important arts would be covered. I'll try and put pics up.

Make a bunch of these up and teach your girls...and wife how to use. Have them carry their own right in their pocket (they fold flat). http://www.instructables.com/id/Simp...-women-and-tr/ Just make sure they lean forward a bit. The Dollar tree usually have 2 packs for a buck, you can make 4 out of that.....Walmart has them too, but are more expensive. The sheets only fold one way, or they just snap.

My modesty tends to stay home most of the time...probably explains why I camp solo most of time. I never really go to camp grounds where there are lots of other people and usually have no trouble finding sufficient cover for cat holes. However, I do teach backpacking and camping related classes to college students and I bring my HH Hex fly with me for privacy out of respect for the students. There are only 2 times when I don't really care about covering up when others are present, one is when the temperatures are 15 below zero and I pretty much live in a long base layer that never comes off.

Established campgrounds usually have showers and toilets, why not go change there.?

I just throw my Cloak of Invisibilty over my head and shoulders and no one can see me, I guess.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

If you are car camping/group hanging in mixed company, it may make sense to bring one of these: http://www.sportsauthority.com/produ...entPage=search

I have a similar setup (cant remember where I got it) that we picked up years ago to get the females in the family to head out into the woods a bit. doubles as an outhouse with one of those camping toilets.

I end up mostly hiking/camping solo so it rarely gets use.
