Another beginner.....

Hey y'all. I just got a Hennessy and am working to get my suspension all figured out in the yard before I take it out for a real overnight. I live in God's country--AKA Tennessee--and I'm taking up hammock camping as a way to extend my kayak trips. The tent just doesn't cut it, but I don't need to explain that to you!

I'm kayaking the Tennessee River Blueway in June--that's 45 miles from Chickamauga Dam to Nickajack Dam. There is primitive camping along the way, and plenty of trees!

There is such a wealth of information on this site, and I appreciate it. How else would I have ever heard of Whoopie Slings?

You know, it's funny, I never even thought I'd be hangin' at all. I always erroneously assumed I was too big to hammock. This forum has completely changed my perspective and I've met the greatest folks ever. Welcome to the forums from Maryland!
