    Going to ground this weekend!

Some friends and I are going to spend the weekend Wakeboarding on Dale Hollow Lake! Dale Hollow is located on the Tennessee/Kentucky border and is an awesome lake! The down side is that I have to sleep in a tent, (my wife prefers a queen size air mattress). I'm not looking forward to leaving the hammock at home! After a day of crash and burns on the wakeboard, I sure could use a good night in the hammock!
The other problem is that about fifteen years ago (more or less), the trees in the campground were wiped out by the pine beatle! It devastated the park and there is still very little cover or suitable places to hang a hammock!

On second thought... I think I'll throw the Hennessy in the truck. Just in case!
    Pics next week!

It is something all of us should force ourselves to do on a rare occasion so we can continue to appreciate what has happened to us when we ascended upon high

I did it with the rug rats a few weeks ago (3 & 4). I dont have the equipment to keep them warm yet.

Felt like I'd been water boarded.
Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.

Hang your hammock "just to sit in" then wait until she is asleep, and go for the hammock. In the morning tell her you must have been sleep walking.
