Warbonnet Yetti Underquilt loosing its feathers

My Yetti purchased August last year, of late I've noticed that the feathers are coming out through the material. I always find feathers sticking out through the material.

I own a old down sleeping bag that's doing this, the bag is 5 or 6 years old.
I'm surprised the Yetti is doing this.

It's well cared for, never stored inside the stuff suck, the only times it's kept in the stuff suck is while out hiking.

It seams to be getting worse with time.

I've lost a few also. If they are still just sticking out, you can sort of "grab" them thru the fabric, with some slack, and then try and pull them back in. I've been able to do that maybe 80 percent of the time.

I do not own a Yeti but have had no suck issue with my Mamba as of yet. I wonder if it is specific to Warbonnet or a patch of fabric?

I own a yeti and keep it stored at full loft, only compressed while in my pack and have not lost any loft or appreciable feather loss. If a feather does poke through, I do as rhjanes and pull them back in.

Just curious. Did that 6 year old sleeping bag leak more feathers when it was new than it did in later years?

The reason I ask is that according to an article on hikelight it is normal for down sleeping bags to loose more feathers when new than later on.

That being said. I too have a Yetti UQ, one of the early ones made, and I haven't noticed an excess of feathers poking out.
