Lake Wedington Trail-Ozark Nat. Forest Ark

My son and I headed to the National Forest for some hang time this weekend. There is a nice quite trail not to far from where I grew up in Northwest Arkansas. We didn't go to far down the trail but anytime I can get him in the woods I'm happy . Like lots of kids Drake loves his electronics.... Honestly he got his shoulder sun burned at a pool party on Saturday so I was proud he made it a mile down the trail with a pack on.

We did Drake got a little bored at times after we made camp - It's funny how the meaning of down time changes with age

Thanks for the pics! I love seeing moms and dads get their kids in the woods in AR. My boys are 3, 1, and due in July . I hope to make up to NW AR with them in the near future.
