The guy was actually pretty funny. He said, "go stand out by your mailbox and in a few weeks or months you might get a check for $13." Because just that weekend the the Parks dept. had taken over the campground from the dnr or something so he wasn't sure what the process was for refunds anymore.

I think I will upgrade, I'll finally get a down underquilt. I hope to make one but may just have to break down an buy one if I don't get it done soon.
    Good luck,

Maybe the person who took your hammock got to watch the storm from the hammock that night. Next time they want leave the the tarp. They will get whats coming to them, but the past is the past enjoy your new stuff.

Yeah, and since the bugnet was a little small for that hammock hopefully they spent and uncomfortable night as a bug buffet.

I usually don't get to where I'm going until bed time so I just hang and sleep, guess I'll have to be more vigilant when I arrive early.

Thanks QT, good to hear from you. I would have expected it a bit more if I were hanging down on 8 mile somewhere, but not so much up there.

Wow I am appalled. I can't believe someone would do you like that. Karma is a cruel yet vindictive mistress though. They will get theirs in the end!

+1 on stealth hanging. Has the additional benefit of adding some adventure to your site selection :-D
