I have started construction of a Winter Tarp and have a question. Once the flat felled seam is sewn, which side is the inside? The side with one row of stitching or two or does it matter?

Good news. It doesn't matter. You should seam seal with a silicone based sealer the non-raised, or smoother side (does that make sense?). Generally, seam sealed sides are on the inside so they don't have as much potential abrasion.

The new guides look great! Lots of good information in there.

I've used your older single sheet guides (and supplies) to make the jump from a lounging hanger, to a hammock camper. I've enjoyed every second!

Now my boy, and his best friend are about to do the same for this fall's scout camping. I know these will come in handy.

    Thank You!

Just making sure I understand...you seam seal the side with only one exposed stitch line, correct? Which means all my reinforcement patches should go on the same side as the seam sealant.

    Fishing huh?

I've been nibbling on the diy tarp idea. Way to set the hook! Thanks for the plans, my order's coming soon.

I see two stitch lines (one partially hidden) on both sides, so I'm not sure about that description, but I'm guessing it would be the side you're seeing one line on. Reinforcement patches go on whatever side you roll the hem to, so the outer edges are hidden in the hem of the tarp - this should be the underside.
