I find it more confusing that the WBBB shelf sticks out beyond the tarp if you peg out the shelf or the other side.

My vote would be to use 1.75mm Zing-It on both the ridgelines and guylines to stake out. Tarp Flyz make adjusting the ridgeline very easy. Some small Nite Ize Figure 9's for the two guylines makes getting a very tight pitch simple. 8' guylines are good, 10' ridgeline on each end may be enough depending on your tree spacing (it's always been enough for me so far)

All this weighs nothing and you can leave it on all the time even when packed. No fussing around!

    would 550 cord work?
those tarp flyz look pretty sweet! think ill order some
do i need anything under my tarp? on the insde like on my blackbird? or just have 10` on each side with the tarp flyz, and 8` on the corners with a loop at the end for stakes

I love 550 paracord for many things, but I got so frustrated using it that I sold my first hammock and tarp. It was just too stretchy. I gave it another try with Zing-it and love it!

Get some Zing-it here for a good price: http://www.outdoortrailgear.com/featured/rope/
I believe 1.75mm is necessary for the Tarp Flyz, 2.2mm may be to large - someone correct me if I'm wrong. It doesn't stretch and it's just so much lighter and smaller than 550, you'll love it.

I use 10' on each end. Some people run a continuous line from tree to tree, which is unnecessary IMO. The 8' sections to the stakes would be good, but I recommend the figure 9's just to make adjusting the length easier. Otherwise, you can retie a knot each time depending on how far you stake it out. You may find 8' overkill, but it's a good starting point.

I bought 100' of zing-it for general use before I found out about the Tarp Flyz, so I had them separate. But I guess it doesn't matter as long as the length is enough for you. I should mention the figure 9's I'm using are very small, so they hold the zing-it. If you find it slips, you may need to get a smaller figure 9, or use larger cord. I've used another brand like zing-it at 2.0mm size and it holds fine.
