Hello, my introduction: I have seen lots of YouTube videos, and am fascinated by the hammocking approach to camping. I enjoy doing things with primitive skills, such as bushcrafting, primitive archery, and camping. I don't get to practice much, but the hanging approach meets my idea of low-cost minimalism, where you can go on a trip on the spur of the moment, and be comfortable. My local area has little or no trees, except for mesquite bushes. I am going to build my own gear, as the wife sort of frowns upon my multiple hobbies, if they get to costing too much. So trying to get info, and doing lots of reading. Thanks for a well designed, informative approach.
