i actually got the idea of hammock camping from that cheesy show dual survivor. i recently got into backpacking and was watching that show one late night and one of the guys constructed a hammock in the middle of the jungle. i started to think about the benefits of hammock camping and thought i was a lone soldier, but when i looked on the internet i found this website, along with all you very informative hammock campers. im glad that i am far from being alone in this endeavor and also that there is so much info here from all the trials and errors so new guys like me have a head start.
