It's time to wash my 'Lite Owl.' Simple question... Can I simply throw this hammock into the washer, use cold water, use a common detergent, and use a regular cycle? If not, is there a preferred method?
Thanks in advance

I haven't washed any of my own hammocks yet so take this advice for the little it is worth! I would plan on simply handwashing my gear. A big container with the softest/gentlest soap and agitate by hand. Once thoroughly rinsed, I would simply hang to dry (out of the sun).

I wash my hammocks in the bath tub. I use warm water and then just hang 'em and let 'em air dry. Have you ever seen a pair of jeans that get all tangled up in the washer...I think that would be bad for a hammock?
I take the suspension off and wash them on gentle cycle in the wash. Low heat to dry or hang dry. So far Iv'e washed my Eno double and my Hammock Bliss with noseeum net. I had them for a few years before I washed them.

My ENO and the wifes BB got washed the other day when a rain storm came thru before I could take them down.

I take the suspension off and wash mine in the washing machine on gentle with the highest water level setting so it can swish good. I just used regular detergent. I do not put it in the dryer, I drape it over a the shower rod to dry.
