For their final projects my students are presenting an act from Romeo and Juliet. Most opt to film it, but one group wanted to perform their act live for the class. One of my students brought me some sheets and asked if we could rig up some curtains as a waiting/preparation area for those students who are not playing in the current scene.
I instantly thought of all the hammock/tarp things I’ve learned here, and by the end of the period I rigged it all up:
One quick paracord ridgeline.
Four braided mason’s line continuous loops and four eraser “acorns” to suspend the sheets:
Prussic the continuous loops to the ridgeline, and larkshead each around a sheet end and eraser:
And Voila! 50 minutes later it's curtains for period 6:
One of my students said "Wow! And without any duck tape." Cordage may not solve all of lives ills, but it certainly lessens them .
