The single is perfect for my 11 yr old daughter. I found it a little snug. Maybe hint around for a double. Hey if the single fits ya great but if it doesn't then you already have one for your kid, then you can get a double and you'll both be hangin cool. Enjoy and read up on old threads and watch some of Shug and Grizz's videos.
