Welcome from Cleveland, GA.
I have a warbonnet blackbird and have no problem sleeping on my side. Which is most of the night.
Not knocking bridgies but i'm a side sleeper as well and my gathered end Blackbird from Brandon at Warbonnett outdoors has served me very well. Trick is to hang correctly. Too tight and there is a bit of a "hump" down by your legs. When i finally listened to the BB experts on this forum and watched Brandon's video on his site and Utube i got it right. i sleep better than i do at home. The other cool feature is the you can sleep on either side or flat on you back. You do have to wiggle around a bit but once you are in the sweet spot out go the lights.
Rumor has it that Brandon is coming out with a new bridge model?
The great news is if you try something and don't like it you can probably sell here for a bit less than you paid for it.
When you're ready to keep warm in your hammock dejur go to see stormcrow (Adam) at hammockgear.com for top & bottom quilts

Welcome to the forums from a former Georgia resident!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Welcome from Lawrenceville, GA. There is a ton of info on this site and it will confuse you even more!! Just kidding. I have an ENO Double Nest with Pro Fly and Guardian Bug net. I'm a side sleeper, too, and I don't have a problem at all. Takes a few times to learn how to set up your hammock properly, but once you get it, you can sleep anyway you want. I sleep way better in my hammock that I do at home. Thing is - in the hammock my sleep feels much deeper than the sleep I get at home. Even if I only get 5 hours of sleep, I wake feeling more rested than eight hours of sleep at home. Check out all the info here, check out all the sites and you'll be able to find the hammock that's just right for you. Good luck and welcome!

Thanks everyone! So I see some other side sleepers are happy with other than bridge hammocks. I’m 6’ 220 lbs., I was concerned about not having a flat enough surface to sleep on my side comfortably . Sounds like the ENO Double nest will set up flat enough for side sleeping. Do you think mith my size and weight it would be a good choice? I see there are some good prices on the complete package ENO One Link Sleep System w/ Doublenest Hammock
