Got the NX200...definitely changed some things

Really like this newer version, I fit now, looking forward to giving it a try beyond just a test setup in the park

Most noticeable difference....n Cavediver's videos, he shows a clip on the foot end which clips to the tarp on his NX200 and mentions it on the NA. Not any more, they've put an electrical zip tie a measured distance off the knot, and tied a bungee on there asymmetrically. Shorter lead goes to the tarp, longer to the mosquito net. Definitely has me going higher in the tree to get the right hang, but also definitely feels MUCH better getting the stuff out of my face. Also looks like they've changed the bed fabric since my 2005 model NA too. Of course, this also has the velcro attach for the Z which my other doesn't.

All in all, really liking it.

This is the "new" schematic comes with the NX-200 (attachment...I hope). Different method of hanging the tarp.

I've got an '04 NA, now as a backup hammock. I'm thinking I can incorporate some of the new methods on the diagram above to mod my old NA. Thanks for the post.
Still looking for a cool sig line

According to a comment the guy on the phone made, though we were not specifically discussing this, they are "making the NA bigger than they used to." The NX is far bigger, I might actually fit into today's NA. My point being, you could call and ask for the knot to support dimension, but make sure you tell them you have an 04 hammock in case it changes. They have zip ties at the support points, I'll try to take a pic later.

Not all NX models are bigger. It is the 2xx models whic are. The NX-150 is the smaller bed, but of the hooped version.Confusing. The TX-15

There are just two Clark bed sizes. Your NX-200 is the large-bed version of the North American. It has the same larger bed size as the NX-250 and the TX-250.

Good for you in rediscovering the joy / comfort.

Hung out in the Adirondacks over the weekend in it, VERY nice

I was perhaps unclear in my comment. They are making the NA bigger today than they did five years ago according to the guy I spoke with. So, I might actually fit in the NA today, but the larger hammock is probably better for me. Waking up to a multi color sunrise over a lake was just beyond description awesome on Monday morning.
