Tagged for interest... I really like the quick easy set up with no need for a LOT of stuff...

Hangnout is being modest here! The truth is that he's a major innovator.
I like to call him the "Quiet Innovator." Not only have I employed his shockcord top closure for bugnets and socks, but I've also stolen his shockcord footbox design.

    Keep 'em coming, Hangnout!

Agree! Medicine Man pushes the envelope for all of us. A true pioneer, the Daniel Boone of the hammocking world. He has single handily been responsible for describing in a single word my exact situation every time I read his posts or see another one of his videos - "Roched"

Brute1100 exactly. We can all hang a hammock up quickly by this point in our hanging careers, it's the tarp that takes the most time and why if you dont have too.
Agreed with MAD, Hang-n-out is too modest; if you ever get his work in your hands you will know you're dealing with a complete professional and a perfectionist.
Sidewinder-I think we all roche each other here, hopefully into lighter simpler cheaper safer and more funner

Here's the sprinkler test (imbed please someone, I used to know how but lost that skill evidently):

Daniel Boone! How funny. All the credit goes to Hangout but he's right, we won't know until after a full year of use.
Also agreed there is a certain risk here, no guarantees, but if (and so far so good) it stands the test of time then there is a lot of time I didn't spend unwinding unspooling unthreading the spaghetti bowl of tarp lines I always find in my stuff sack.

Glad it passed the sprinkler test

I have agree with Acer about not being able to resist the temptation to lower the sprinkler. Good thing you can trust Poof!

    born2roam, here is my logic

I've got an HG Winter Palace.
Let's say naked it weighs 9.9 ounces (ish).
The HO Dirigible weighs 16 ounces.
6.1 ounce difference, but within that 6.1 is an overcover
and an undercover and it's already proven to give 14F additional warmth.
The Dirigible has multiple set up options. The tarp has just a couple.
But the setup time and line entanglement was the primary issues.
