    First hang

My husband decided after getting in mine for 5 minutes that he needed one too. We both got try them out Friday night in Farmington, NY. The good news is we stayed off the ground all night and slept MUCH better than we would ever sleep on the ground. The bad news is my four year old wanted in my hammock. Weight wise we were more than fine...sleeping wise..she is a starfish and wiggled a bit much for my liking. More bad news...it rained and rained and rained more when we needed to break camp and head on to Maine. It wasn't too bad packing up the hammocks...the kid's tent is another story....

Sounds like a decent time! Remember the rule though - pics or it never happened!

Rangeley. It's our first visit and it has been amazing! I keep seeing lots of places to hang if we come back and strictly camp . My first pick would be Angel Falls, the second the along Cascade Stream Gorge trail.

Using a large enough tarp, your daughter could hang in her own hammock, under the same tarp as you, and/or your hubby. Right?

Absolutely. I have now acquired two cub zips and I am on the lookout for another one or a scout so each kid can have their own. My husband I both have a hex fly so the girls could easily bunk with us...I could just get another one for my son. He is headed to Webelos this year so it is probably best he have his own hex fly regardless
