    ATHH Group Review

This thread is for discussion of the recent ATHH Group Review.

Note - this review compilation is still a work in progress. There are still a couple of reviews to be added, and I will update this post when complete.

Many thanks to HC4U for collecting/organizing the reviews.

    Sew, is you dun yet?

FWIW: I'm still using the ATHH without incident. And I have hung at least 2 of EVERY 3 nights in my ATHH since getting it several months ago.

As you can see from my report, I have nothing against that hammock but it's just not my cup of tea.
If someone else would like to have it, PM me w/ your mailing address & I'll send it to you for the cost of the shipping.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

Grizz was the 1st of two requests for the hammock, so it's spoken for.

thx slowhike. It has a perfect role waiting for it as a overhead tarp for my son's "treehouse" (which doubles as my hammock stand...)

Don't forget to seal the seams where the tabs are sewn along the ridgeline - I could see daylight through the stitches in mine!

    travel hammock addendum

    Hi guys!1

The weather has finally changed here in central Florida.

I had a delightful nap in the subject hammock a few days ago. The lack of breathability is not a problem with weather in mid seventies.

Something else came to my attention. The hammock is made with a central panel and a narrower (12 inch or so) panel on each outer edge. In my evaluation, I complained about it because it didn't hold my head up.

But, for actual sleeping, it seems to enable a much more flat position to be achieved. There is no risk of falling out, just a nice flat lie.

I just did the math, & found that I have used the hybred hammock roughly 80 nights now, still no sign of wear on the hammock or suspension ropes. After reading some of the other reviews, I wonder at the failure of some of the suspension ropes.
