    DIY- Rabbit Bridge

This is my first DIY hammock project
UL Bridge, weight 11.85oz includes 1.1 ripstop body, full bug netting with full length side zipper, Dynaglide suspension and tree straps. Spreader bars shown will be replaced with trekking poles. The tarp not shown is a HG four season Cuben Fiber.

both head and foot end have noseeum netting for better summer ventilation

metal zipper pulls were replaced with Dynaglide

Many thanks goes out to Grizzly Adams

    Looks Great

    That's a great looking hammock!

I put together DIY stuff as well but not brave enough to show photos Want to build a bridge one of these days and yours certainly inspires.

Wonder what you are using to hold up the bug netting. Is that shock cord? About how tall a person will fit in this comfy bridge?

    Thanks

the edges of the netting are folded over and stitched no shock cord, the ridge line is lash-it

this one was designed to fit me 5'4", I have about 7" additional length

Man that is Really Nice looking. How long did it take to make? How small does it compress down to (minus the trekking poles)?
