Looks great! Is this a "cottage industry"?

I'm not really sure what a Cottage Industry is. No, I don't make stuff in a Cottage. I have a commercial building on commercial property. But what does that have to do with anything? Does someone making hammocks in their bedroom do a better job than someone in a commercial building. Or is it that you would just rather give your money to someone who doesn't have any business related bills to pay.
Please give me the definition of Cottage Industry

Wonderful news! Looks great man! Great upgrades to your hammock line.

Cottage industry? Well, there are some folks who started in a garage and want to stay in a garage. That's fine. Other folks want to make a bigger splash, maybe even quit their day job and do their hobby full-time. Does making that transition turn them from cottage to mainstream in some way? Maybe. There are plenty of manufacturers here on the forum who've done that. I think what we "like" about the cottage is the personal attention, the hometown feel, and the "made in the USA" flag waving, apple pie-eating, baseball playing camaraderie.

I think it's great that you can do this full time! Way to go!

Ok,so. After reading your post and a little bit of thought, I guess that I am considered as a Cottage Industry. While working out of a 1000 sf commercial space and with 2 home workers.
I guess. I think. this is what a Cottage Industry Worker looks like. Or is it someone strictly working from home?

I don't care as long as its a product I want and or need at a decent price and decent customer service.

Does Apple computers count as a cottage industry as it started in a garage ?
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
