I made a pair a while back with Dynaglide.

I did a locked brummel with a correct bury length. I used the knot recommended in opie's soft shackle tutorial for the stopper knot and I used Grizz's whipping knot.

I've hung on these for one night and they definitely settled in. I lost at least .5 - .75 half inch off the tail.

They are much easier to operate than a traditional soft shackle IMHO.

Thanks Tendertoe. I actually made one identical to yours, but I just wanted a prettier knot so untied it and I went with the diamond.
