    welcome from Tennessee
'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

So far I was just going to use a sleeping bag. When I Can get enough money I will buy an Uq and a TQ.

Welcome! There's lots of great information here! I'm trying a single line suspension on my next outing Monday and Tuesday with my ENO. I'm sure you will quickly find something that works for you!

    Talking Welcome to Hanging

Welcome from SW Washington. I have done some hanging above Halmiton last year, beautiful area.
Oh and enjoy the madness as someone on this form has told me.

Welcome from Michigan! I have to say I truly love your state! I envy your mountains and endless wilderness

As for whoopie slings... I suggest you make your own. It is rewarding making your own gear and you save a couple dollars in the process. Also whoopie slings are really not that difficult to make if you check out the DIY instructions on this site. I just made my own a few months ago and bought some amsteel blue from westmarine.com, pretty good prices, may be able to find better elsewhere. Good luck and enjoy hanging!!!
