    Wash Brazillian Hammock

So the 14 year old is in Philmont for the next 2 weeks...He hangs full time in a Brazillian Hammock in his room. Momma thought it would be nice to wash it while he is away.
Any tips on washing one of these?
    Thanks!

I would think cold soak then gentle cycle in the machine would work. But, if it is too big or you don't want to chance it, the bathtub makes a great large item soak basin. I washed a large 70 yr old Guatemalan hair blanket in mine last year. I gave it a long cold water soak with detergent then agitated it by hand. It worked very well.
