    Slap Strap Pro Stretch

I know this has been brought up several times, but just wanted to post that this is in fact the case.... Hung the Hammock, and had about 16 inches of Clearance under the hammock. Woke up about five hours later, and center of Hammock was dragging... I had previously only used the hammock for lounging for a few hours, so this was the wake up call to get new straps!

I still can't figure out why ENO still uses nylon for the slap straps.

As long as people keep buying them, they'll keep selling them. For better or worse.

One word:Polyester. I equate a nylon suspension kit to using bungee cord.

If I cared enough to invest in this, I'd start buying SlapStraps, giving them the review they deserve, and returning them for full refunds. It would be kinda fun if dozens of us spammed vendors like REI and NRC.

I guess that's what gets my goat the worst: vendors that I should be able to trust selling crap.

Before I read the reviews of this, I had already pulled the trigger and bought some. Wish I had found these earlier, to be honest.
Camped with my friends, and I'd hang myself high enough that I'd have to hop up slightly to get into my hammock. I'd wake up almost touching the ground, slowly lowering me roughly two-three feet.

I did have the luxury of seeing a friend camp using tie-down straps to tension his hammock, and I managed to pick up a pair for $5. Those have worked wonderfully so far!

I wish I would of found this site before I bought the straps as well. Still for the money I spent on a ENO DN and the straps it was a great starter setup. When I had the same question of why the straps stretched. Some magical force lead me here. Where all my questions were answered and wallet lightened.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.

I'm glad I found this site before I bought my DN. I bought Python Straps instead.

I bought the ENO Slap straps and had the same problem with ending up on the ground. At first I thought maybe it was because my big butt so i gave them to my wife (which does not have a big butt) and even she had the same problem.

Personally I think ENO Slap Straps fall into the category of "good idea, bad execution".
